The latest Covid-19 data shows a worrying increase in reproduction numbers and incidence values in Germany. With an estimated 7-day incidence of over 1000 and an R-value of around 1.08 on 31 August 2024, the burden on the healthcare system continues to rise. Wastewater data and reports also indicate that the situation is worsening.
